Behind The Bins is Here!

Welcome to our new platform, Behind The Bins!

We live in a time when creative voices driven by social, cultural and climate justice are becoming louder and louder in the art and design industries. Trash Club is a conduit to these conversations, whether that be a demand for transparency, a comprehensive awareness of our work's impact on the environment, or an invitation for a more inclusive industry.

Behind The Bins offers a unique place for the Trash Club community and broader network to participate in an ever-evolving, raw and collaborative space. Trash Club's new platform will spotlight the work of creatives worldwide, share the Trash and Treasures (ups and downs) of freelance life and explore creative processes from behind the studio doors. From the artisans in Jaipur, India, to the bio designers in The Netherlands and the upcyclists in Accra, Ghana, Behind The Bins is a space for our diverse stories to be shared as we move away from a creative industry led by exclusivity, towards a future powered by coexistence.

As an extension to Trash Talk, of which we celebrated the 100th discussion this summer, Behind The Bins podcast Series One is a collection of four episodes featuring Trash Club members and friends engaging in vibrant discussions about the creative journey. These discussions are centred around our C-R-A-P value pillars: Consciousness, Responsibility, Authenticity and People.
